Completed Projects:

Sheepish Designs NZ

Isabel needed a platform to showcase her gorgeous and special hand-spun yarn and I had a lovely time working on this with her. I got to play with taking some product photos (a skill I am just beginning to develop and will get into more depth with this next year when I study the diploma in digital photography) and we will be updating as and when needed to keep things fresh and functional.

NOOZ – Mosgiel, New Zealand

This was my biggest project to date! A large product catalogue, using professional photographs, with full e-commerce solutions and integrated email marketing. This is an ongoing project, as I have been retained to keep things up to date and ticking over smoothly. Nice to keep some day to day hands on input, and a great team to work with as well!

NOOZ Online Pop-Up Shop

This has been a really fun project! Suz wanted a website that popped up and down much like her NOOZ clothing shops ‘Pop-up’ in various towns around NZ. This meant I could play with settings and password protection and all kinds of different aspects not normally required in a standard website. The online pop-up site is set to return on a schedule, so we added a timer to the password page showing her customers just how much longer they had to wait. This different type of site format means the content is super fresh and turns over something new every time it goes live. A really interesting project to work on!

Sugarlane Cakes – Dunedin, New Zealand

Sharlayne reached out to her Facebook family to see where she could go for help with her website. I was recommended to her by a client I had worked for previously.

The website representing Sugarlane Cakes at that time was tired and outdated, and really didn’t showcase her brand the way Sharlayne felt was right for her. So together we talked through a plan, and I came up with a fresh and elegant design that provided an ideal platform for Sugarlane Cakes to communicate with the customers she was reaching.

Fast forward a year or so, and we were able to make a couple of minor adjustments this year, just to keep things on track and looking sharp. It is always a pleasure to work with such gorgeous photos too, I must say!

Goodlife Gardens Nursery – Gore, New Zealand

Goodlife Gardens was where my journey began. After completing a horticulture course in 2013 I began growing plants for sale at local markets in Dunedin. I began my web development journey building a website to help our customers stay up to date with where we were, and what we were selling. It was great fun, but my passion for websites quickly outstripped my passion for growing plants!

The Goodlife Gardens website encompassed a blog page, a calendar to list our upcoming event appearances, and a gallery to show off photos of our beautiful plants. It often had a shop component as well depending on our supply at the time.

My skills have come a long way from this humble beginning!

Liz Lyall Celebrant – South Otago, New Zealand

Liz needed a website to give herself more of a presence online. She wanted to be able to portray all aspects of her celebrant services, and this was best done with a multi-page website that had the ability to hold files for download that she needed her clients to be able to access freely. This was a handover project, rather than one I am responsible for updating regularly.
